Community Mapping Tools - Video Stories

Sam & Jeremy with the BC Community Asset Mapping Network go over how you can capture video stories in your community. They provide a few possible short questions you can ask your participants, and emphasize that keeping it short and sweet is best!

Questions you can ask to Map your Community using Video Stories:

1) What do you usually do when you come to [where we are]?

2) How long have you been coming here, and how often are you able to come?

3) Why is this one of your favourite places?

4) What makes this place inclusive for you?

We have found sticking to 3-5 short questions is the best way to capture how inclusive and welcoming a place is.
