I really like going to live events at the Victoria Event Center. There's just something about the way they've set that space up, where they really make sure that you feel welcome, you feel belonging. There's a code of conduct. They're really clear about what to do if you feel unsafe. There's always a land acknowledgment. All those things help me know that people are thoughtful about making the space inclusive and welcoming, and it always makes me want to spend more time there.
